Less begins with attention. Before adding anything to a room, pause to notice the light, the movement and the pieces that already feel right.
Begin with what you keep
A room becomes personal through the things that matter to you. A useful chair, a handmade vessel or a familiar piece of timber can offer a starting point more meaningful than a full shopping list.
Leave something open
An empty surface is a place for the eye to rest. Space around an object helps us see its shape and material; space between pieces makes a room easier to move through.
Choose slowly
Allow the room to develop through living in it. Notice what is missing, what is useful and what you continue to enjoy. A considered home can take its time.
